Quality and Environmental Policy

The Quality and Environmental Policy of GOTTAK S.L. is aimed at achieving the required level of quality and service in the manufacture, the supply of products on a continuous basis and at an optimal cost with minimum impact on the environment.

In order to achieve this level of control the organization has established and deployed a management system based on the ISO9001 and ISO14001 international standards.

These policies are adjusted to the purpose of achieving the satisfaction of the client and other interested parties in our context, meeting their expectations as well as the applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. Likewise, the organization declares its compromise to control and manage its impact on environmental aspects with the aim that this impact is as small as possible, reducing the footprint on the environment while ensuring a sustainable development.

To ensure that the Quality and Environmental Policy is understood, applied and kept up to date at all levels of the organization, the responsibilities and own commitments are defined in written form through the Quality and Environmental Management System documentation of each area or department of the Company.

In order to implement a continuous improvement of performance and of the Management System itself, GOTTAK, S.L. annually sets objectives, the monitoring of which will be a part of the periodic reviews of the Quality and Environmental Management System, being the assignment of resources for its completion responsibility of Upper-Management.

Specifically for the Environmental Management System, Upper-Management has established the following principles:

• Ensure the compliance of legal environmental requirements to the related activity, the geographic location and the requirements voluntarily assumed by the Company or by request of its customers.
• Work in a respectful way with the environment and look after its protection.
• Minimize environmental impact due to the activities conducted by the Company.
• Endear the mentioned Environmental Management System to all the organization to stimulate active participation from all employees.
• Become acquainted with the alternatives that our supplier market offers regarding new raw materials or services that would decrease the impact on the environment.
